Xiangyu Zhang has been a PhD student in Virginia Tech since 2014 Fall. He graduated from Wuhan University in 2012 and Tsinghua University in 2014, for his bachelor and master degree respectively. When in China, Xiangyu had experience working on projects from the State Grid of China concerning renewable energy integration and power system cascading failure. His background and skills include but not limit to power system analysis, complexity network theory and programming.
